Splendid and preserved, Praslin is an island located in the Seychelles, in the Indian Ocean. It is 36 km northeast of Mahé. The island is particularly well connected from Mahé.

It is known for its turquoise blue beaches lined with palm trees, coconut trees or other takamaka, such as Anse Georgette and Anse Lazio, along which stand large granite boulders.
The most touristic beach of Anse Volbert-Côte d’Or, faces the island Chauve Souris located in the open sea. Praslin wilderness, covered by the jungle, is home to the Praslin National Park which includes the nature reserve from the Valley of May and allow to escape among many hiking trails.
